Nileport Projects provides professional Project Management services to the commercial property industry. Based in Brisbane, the company specialises in the delivery of retail, commercial and multi-residential projects through approvals, design, contract, construction and handover.

The Australian Institute of Project Management


Tom Ropelin is a member of the Australian Institute of Project Management, (AIPM) the premier body of project management in Australia. Formed in 1976 as the Project Managers’ Forum, the AIPM has been instrumental in advancing the profession of project management in Australia for over 40 years. With over 10,000 members the AIPM is the peak body for Project Managent in Australia and Australasia.

AIPM’s vision is to be the preferred and influencing body in the Project Management Sector and be regarded as a world authoritive reference on project management practices and competency. AIPM is also the largest and only National membership organisation for Project Management in Australia.

Master Builders

Master Builders is the peak industry association representing building and construction in Queensland since 1882. With around 8,500 members, representing a range of affiliated construction related professions, Master Builders is a valuable source of practical and relevant information regarding the Queensland building and construction industry. Membership with Master Builders ensures Nileport Projects is kept informed with regular updates on changes to laws, codes and regulations, employment and wages, and health, safety and environment.

Queensland Building & Construction Commission

The Building and Construction Commission (QBCC) is a statutory authority established under the Queensland Building and Construction Commission Act 1991 (QBCC Act) and is part of the portfolio of the Minister for Housing and Public Works. The purpose of this regulatory authority is to improve the standards, equity and confidence in the building industry. Any contractors performing building work valued over $3,300 must hold a QBCC licence, and as such Nileport Projects holds an Open Unrestricted Builder Licence and Builder – Project Management Services Licence. This means Nileport Projects has met all the regulatory requirements to manage and construct all classifications of buildings/structures as defined in the Building Code of Australia. Nileport Projects has held a QBCC Licence since 2010, and is deemed Category 2 as defined in the AATO classification, having an allowable turnover of up to $7 Million.
